Estate Planning

It’s Your Legacy. Only You Can Decide What Happens Next.

You don’t need to be wealthy, own a home, or be married with children. You do need to make your wishes known—otherwise the state (or someone you didn’t choose) will.

Estate planning keeps you in control: who’s in charge, who can help, and where your assets go if you can’t decide for yourself.

We keep the process clear and efficient and ensure it reflects your life and wishes.

Built For Your Situation

  • Name who can make medical and financial decisions for you.
  • Name a partner even if you’re not married.
  • Direct gifts to parents, siblings, friends, charities, or pets.
  • Keep transfers simple with beneficiary/TOD/POD designations.
  • Avoid confusion later with plain-English instructions your people can follow.

Core Documents & Decisions

  • Durable Power of Attorney (DPOA) – Someone you trust handles money/administration if needed.
  • Health Care Proxy + HIPAA – The person who speaks with your doctors and can access information.
  • Advance Directive – Your choices for treatment and end-of-life care.
  • Beneficiary Review – We align accounts and policies so they follow your plan.
  • (If necessary) Revocable Trust – For privacy, efficiency, or special instructions. If you don’t need one, we’ll say so.

  • Your digital life (account access, instructions, and permissions)
  • Co-owned property or accounts with a partner or friend
  • Small business or side-hustle continuity (who steps in, how it runs)
  • Pet care (named caregiver and funds)

How It Works In 5 Easy Steps

  • Counselling and Design – Here, we begin the counselling process as we jointly work towards developing a plan that addresses your needs.
  • Counselling and Review – Once designed, you review your plan and request any changes as needed.
  • Funding Forum – You’ve created your plan, now you need to fund it. In this step we will begin coordinating your financial assets with your estate plan.

Quick Questions About Estate Planning:

  1. What should I bring to the first meeting? A brief list of your accounts/assets, the individuals you trust for roles (primary and backups), and any existing documents or beneficiary statements. No exact numbers needed.
  2. I’m not ready to loop in family—can we keep this private? Yes. Your plan remains confidential. We’ll decide who gets what information and when, and we’ll prep the people you authorize.
  3. How do I choose an executor or agents? Pick reliable adults who can handle details and communicate well. Local is helpful, not required. We’ll help you evaluate options and name backups.
  4. Do I have to list every single asset? No. We use categories and align beneficiary/TOD/POD designations so things transfer cleanly without itemizing every balance.
  5. Where do the documents live—and who needs copies? You’ll get organized originals and digital copies, plus storage guidance. We’ll outline who should hold what and when your agents need access.
